Job Description

CNC Programmer and Operator (Aerospace)Bristol£28,000 - £30,000 DOE + 25 days holiday + pension + company benefitsAre you a CNC Operator/Programmer from a Manufacturing/Production background looking to join a small team where you can expect industry leading specialist trainingDo you want to work for a niche Engineering business supplying into the exciting and fast-growing aerospace industry who are set to double their turnover in the next 3 yearsOn offer is a role with a company that specialise in providing services to the aerospace industry and have seen a dramatic increase in demand over the last 12 months with travel restrictions beginning to lift. This is a great chance to join a company whoare going through an exciting phase of growth.The role is working with a precision finishing engineering company, established for almost 50 years.The ideal candidate must have the experience to run our CNC Hurco and be quick to learn to operate CNC Engravers, Router and Laser Engraver.The successful candidate will:

  • Ability to programme and operate 3 axis CNC Hurco Machine
  • Conventional Programming in WinMax, using DXF
  • Managing Tools and set ups
  • Good IT Skills including Adobe Illustrator, Engrave Lab and 2D CAD Software
  • Read Technical drawings
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail and good Engineering Hygiene
  • Experience working with free issue components
  • Machining aluminium and plastics
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • CNC Operating & Programming background
  • Manufacturing/Production background
