Job Description

Job Opportunity: CNC Miller Turner/OperatorLocation: BristolHours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 16:00 Friday 7:30am - 12:00 (37-hour week)OR Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (40 hours over 52 weeks) £37,800 per annum.20% shift allowance on both shifts.Benefits: Pension after 3 months, Death in service after 12 months, Cycle to work scheme after probation, Overtime available paid at a 1.5 rate, 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysDescription:Are you an experienced CNC Miller Turner/Operator looking to be part of a dynamic team [Your Company Name] is growing, and we need your expertise to ensure efficient, high-quality part production in our Bristol HQ.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and run 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controllers.
  • Meet planned set and run times and maintain quality standards.
  • Implement 5S organisation and communicate NRFT within your area.
  • Ensure correct materials, Route Cards, and drawings for production.
  • Set up tools, offsets, and assist other operators as needed.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and complete work on time.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
  • Previous manufacturing and aerospace experience.
