Shorterm are currently assisting one of our engineering clients with multiple CNC Miller vacancies.Due to company expansion, they are looking for three CNC Millers to join the company on a permanent basis. They are standard Monday to Friday working days with a half day on a Friday. A little about the role: Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines with Heidenhain ControlsAdhering to quality standardsSkills, Knowledge & ExperiencePrevious experience with 3 and 4 Axis machines is essential with 5 Axis (preferred)Previous experience in a similar position as a CNC Miller setting and operating CNC machinery (preferred)Good working knowledge of component dimensions using various inspection equipment - including but not limited to Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges.Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and Engineering drawings is essential.Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately as required by internal and external customer specifications.Experience within an Aerospace sector (preferred)Remuneration and Benefits37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, early finish on FridayAnnual salary £21,164 - £28,860 DOEOvertime (when available) paid at time and half.Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays.Company Pension SchemeCompany Bonus SchemeEmployee Referral ProgrammeSimply Health Plan and DIS Benefit after 1 years service.
