Our client based in Bristol are a busy Global FinTech software provider to the worlds top banks.They are looking to invest in its DevOp and Cloud teams, that will further enable a rapidly growing Cloud hosted client base.The position requires little to no travel, offers excellent growth potential, and is a great opportunity to further develop Cloud knowledge. You should have an excellent technical background, a good work ethic, and strong communication skills. The role willinvolve participation in new initiatives across the product suite, enhancing their Cloud provision strategy .They are happy to offer Sponsorship if that is required for you as an individual .If you can work three days a week in the office the rest can be remote .The purpose of the role will be to create, manage and improve their OnDemand solutions in the cloud and support the development and release of software in a DevOps capacity. Key duties and accountabilities of the role will include;Evolving their best practices for deploying solutions into Azure and AWSProvide Azure and AWS expertise and consultancy to the rest of the businessWorking with our Development, Support and OnDemand teams and may involve occasional customer contactBuilding and supporting cloud infrastructure in productionAutomating software integration and deployment in cloud platforms, like AWS and Microsoft AzureEssential Skills Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability and desire to improve both their practices and yourselfIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure with strong commercial experience of managing enterprise infrastructure environmentsDeep technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storageConfiguration of firewalls, load balancers and other network equipmentExperience with deploying and managing the infrastructure for databases such as SQL Server and OracleStrong commercial experience of managing enterprise infrastructure environments .Desirable "nice to have " skills Understanding of how to build resilient multi-site architectures Deep technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage Experience and knowledge of cloud security and relevant ISO and PCI compliance requirements In depth knowledge of AWS, Azure and other cloud providers Experience of Windows and Linux operating systems Experience of using Terraform to build, change and version infrastructure.
