Job Description

Civil EngineerMy client is a successful environmental and engineering consultancy whos civil engineering team offer expert services in bridges, sustainable drainage systems and highways design. Working for this dynamic company will boost your professional developmentby utilising the latest technology and working alongside a supportive, innovative and talented team. With a strong outlook on future projects they are seeking an ambitious Civil Engineer to join their team in the bustling city of Bristol.The Requirements

  • Degree level qualified in either Civil or Structural Engineering
  • On track to Chartership with professional membership to ICE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the sectional agreements including the Water Industry act and the Highways Act
  • Proficiency with software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infodrainage and Microdrainage
  • Strong understanding of drainage design such as SuDs, cut and fill analysis and highways
  • Competent awareness of Part H and M in the Building Regulations
The Role
  • Coordinating with a variety of disciplines including building services, engineers, and project managers
  • Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage statements
  • Undertaking various designs for highways and drainage in a mix of sized developments
  • Represent the company at client and project meetings
  • Help bring in fresh work with client proposals
  • Taking a self-motivated approach to professional development
