Southern Brooks seeks CEO, Bristol, upto £50k + BenefitsSouthern Brooks is the leading community anchor charity for South Gloucestershire, working with many partners to help communities connect, support and thrive. They deliver high-quality community development projects alongside health and well-being services- helping people achieve what matters to them.The Charity has been bringing comminutes together since 1988. This is acomplished through active partnerships that result in stronger families, healthier communities, increased independence and people having a greater influence on the decisions that affectthem. Southern Brooks leads partnerships across the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, alongside projects to promote sustainable communities, health and wellbeing. Everything they do begins with a legacy in mind, to help people developthe skills, confidence and capacity for communities to reach their full potential.They’re seeking a Chief Executive Officer to build on their success and take the Charity to the next level. The CEO will provide leadership and clear direction for the ongoing development of Southern Brooks. This will be achieved in a financially viablemanner, that’s in line with their vision and core values.The successful candidate will be an ambassador for both the organisation and the VCSE sector in South Gloucestershire and the wider area, cultivating positive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders and increasing the profile and impact of SouthernBrooks.The new CEO will have a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence to lead an experienced and highly motivated team. They will have proven leadership and management experience in the delivery of an organisation’s strategy and demonstrable successin managing growth. The individual will be knowledgeable about UK Charity legislation and sustainable financial management. Finally, they must embrace the Charity’s values and be passionate about transforming lives.
