Job Description

Pay Rate: £10.80 per hour Role: Care Assistant Hours: Part time 24 hours per weekShift Pattern: Midday till 8pm, 3 days per week________________________________________________________________________Part of the City & County Healthcare group, Total Community Care, provide specialist care teams for individuals who live within their own homes. Our client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord injury, Acquired Brain injury and other NeurologicalconditionsWe have an exciting opportunity for a Female Care Assistant to join a specialist care team to assist a Lady who has a T2 Spinal Injury, who is living in her own home in the Bristolarea.The Role:

  • You will provide personal care, including neurogenic bowel and bladder care.
  • Assisting with passive exercises, transfers using the hoist, and medication administration.
  • You will support this lady in her daily life and assist in social activities.
  • Meal preparation and general household duties.
About You:
  • The right candidate will be professional, respectful, honest and trustworthy.
  • You must hold a full driving licence
  • You will be working in the ladys own home and would need to be able to be mindful and respectful of privacy
  • You will need to feel comfortable around animals.
  • Please note that this is a non-smoking environment
