It is essential that the successful candidate is a technical sales professional with specifier, contractor and project sales experience in the construction industry. It ispreferred that you are based close to the M4, however we are open to applicants from other areas.The purpose of this role is to create strong relationships and pull through business by working collaboratively with Contractors and Distributors by managing self-generated project opportunities and lead-sharing, for the 3 main Technical Insulation markets- HVAC (incl. Fire Protection System), Marine & Industry.Focusing on building existing relationships with Distributors, Sub-Contractors and a select number of M&E Consulting Engineers to secure new business, project specifications and change of specifications. The Business Development Managers will also be responsiblefor managing high volume projects, specified by the Specification Manager, through all commercial stages to order, engaging with contractors and distributors to secure the specifications and develop other discretionary business.Concentrating on growth from key focus specialist thermal sub-contractors on a monthly basis through analysis of sales figures and through lead-sharing and technical solution sales (using bespoke calculation software).The role will also involve; delivering CPDs, providing Technical Solution Sales adhering to Building Regulations and using bespoke calculation software, cultivating customer intimacy through customer and trade association events and managing joint initiativeswith our direct customers to build great working relationships to increase market share.What were looking for:
