Job Description

Business Development ManagerSalary: £40k - £50k + 100% OTEHybrid (1x Monthly Meeting in Bristol)Job Role:To effectively sell our clients suite of software products by establishing contact and developing relationships with new and existing clients, working closely with the client and the rest of the team to ensure that our clients’ needs, and expectations aremet.You will be responsible for:

  • Research, engage and close commercial deals in the construction market.
  • Compiling sales plans.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle to promote low risk and predictable performance.
  • Accurate and dependable forecasting that the business can rely on to support its development plans.
  • Be fully conversant with the product portfolio to the point where you can answer the majority of non-technical customer or prospect queries.
  • Acquaint yourself with the company’s sales cycle.
  • Ensure that CRM is kept up to date on a real time basis.
  • Provide critical analysis of lost and closed business.
  • Engage with and support the marketing, customer success, and product teams
The skills and experience which we are looking for:
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Demonstratable experience of managing the full sales cycle.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Passion for technology, high level of technical understanding of IT tools. Note that the role does not require software development or in-depth technical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop and maintain cordial professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team and able to use your own initiative.
  • Proven ability to manage a pipeline and work towards a sales target.
