Job Description

Job Title: Business Development ManagerIndustry: Facilities Management & Professional Cleaning ServicesLocation: Bristol / CardiffWorkplace type: Hybrid - 3 days / week in the officeSalary: £45-50K basic + OTEOur client has been providing professional cleaning and FM services in the UK for over 30 years. They are renowned for their reliability in commercial and industrial cleaning we have diverse partnerships across industries including hospitality, education,healthcare, leisure and the public sector.As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of new clients and securing both contractual and project work within the Groups chosen markets. You will be target driven and will work to build lasting relationships witha range of key decision makers, and effectively promote the company brand to customers.Key responsibilities:

  • Assembling, owning and developing a best-in-class new business development pipeline (1-3 years)
  • Delivering individual growth targets as agreed with Line Manager
  • Self-generating leads through cold calling, networking and PQQs
  • Identifying tender opportunities and taking overall responsibility for producing winning tenders, whilst using full resource of the company available
  • Seeking out clients and forming working relationships with the premier buyers in the industry
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
  • Management of CRM system and recording of activities to allow for accurate reporting
  • Forming profitable sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative
  • Supporting the companys response on major tenders and bids
Candidate profile:Essential
  • Proven track record in sales role within the cleaning and wider FM (soft and hard) industry
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Real drive and energy to close opportunities to meet targets
