Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our product team to help us to understand our users’ needs and work with our talented engineers and content specialists to build the right solution to do this.You will be working daily with our product manager to produce high quality requirements, which will then be delivered within our Content product team.You will be investigating problems and opportunities in our publishing systems. You will be analysing and collecting information to make recommendations to solutions that fit with our strategic objectives. We are proud of our self-organising teams who are empowered to select the most appropriate solutions.The ideal candidate will bring a genuine enthusiasm for technology and the ability to thrive in an environment characterised by continual learning, cross-functional collaboration and flexibility. You will be a strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with your team and business stakeholders.A mix of your skills will need to be deployed flexibly according so the role may cross traditional business analyst - project manager - scrum master boundaries. Whatever your background, you will have a reputation for being the first choice resource’ when the business needs to get something done!The role would particularly suit a someone with business analysis or publishing background.About you:Applicants should:

  • Have experience writing epics and user stories
  • Be confident picking up new domain knowledge and explaining to others.
  • Be comfortable in agile environments with strong team working, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have some experience of project management - planning, budget management
  • Be confident running user tests.

  • STEM Publishing
  • XML document manipulation
  • Data migration
  • Atlassian suite: JIRA and Collaborate
  • Qualifications: CSPO, BCS BA Diploma, Lean Six Sigma certification, Business Process Improvement
