Job Description

Builder/Maintenance Technician Bristol £22,000 p.a. + incentive bonusBuilder/ Maintenance Technician required for successful automated garage door businessThe RoleWorking for this successful garage door installations business, you will be responsible for fitting, repairing and servicing manual and electric front, side and garage doors, including project administration, quality control & safety on site and ensuring installations are made to customer satisfaction, on time and to budget. The role includes:

  • Inspection at client premises to complete competitive online quotations
  • Attending site to work and install garage doors, barriers, gates
  • Servicing, repairing, trouble-shooting existing garage doors, gate installations
  • Contributing towards the overall sales, operations and administration of the business
    • Training will be provided to allow you to complete all works to current H&S standards, deal with issues as and when they arise and to complete electronic forms at the end of the job to take payments as appropriate.The CompanyOur Client is a family owned business providing garage door installations, servicing and repairs and operating from a variety of sites servicing Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset and surrounding regions. They have a strong reputation for quality and customer service built on decades of trading and a huge portfolio of installations throughout the regions.The PersonAs a Builder/Maintenance Technician you will have relevant practical experience with the ability to:
  • measure up, supply and fit garage doors
  • undertake minor side alterations when fitting electric gates / side doors etc.
  • work independently and as part of a team with good customer facing skills
