Job Description

Bodyshop ManagerLocation: BristolSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annumWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Manager to join a reputable car body repair shop in Bristol. As the Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the body shop, managing a team of technicians,and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.Our client is a reputable car body repair company that provides high-quality, cost-effective solutions to customers across the UK. With a team of skilled technicians and state-of-the-art equipment, our client specialises in repairing minor dents, scratches,and other cosmetic damage to vehicles, using the latest techniques and materials to restore them to their original condition.Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional site performance and driving profitable growth, contributing to overall business growth
  • Building strong relationships with managers, suppliers, and customers to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Providing strong leadership, direction, and management to the site team to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team
  • Focusing on the bodyshop and driving best practices, performance excellence, and exceptional customer service
  • Managing the daily tasks of the workshop, including overseeing invoice submissions and unsent account management
  • Overseeing the estimating, customer service, and parts departments as part of the workshop to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Achieving strong financial performance while maintaining high-quality service and exceptional customer care
  • Promoting and embodying the company culture and values in all aspects of your work.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance techniques
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff
