Please contact Rochelle on for more informationGeneral Manager / Bodyshop Manager - Clear Automotive is a specialist Automotive recruitment agency, working with Accident repair and automotive organisations across the UK, to fulfil their staffing requirements.We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager /General manager who possesses the experience and knowledge of working in the crash repair market, to join a large repair group, overseeing and ensuring the success and smooth running ofthe bodyshop site from a staffing, financial, compliance and operational perspective.Our client is an expert within the accident repair market and due to an internal move, they are looking to recruit an experienced Accident repair General manager, who is experienced in managing an efficient, BSI approved site. A strong bodyshop / accidentrepair background is essentialThe Role: Site Manager / Bodyshop Manager - Accident Repair Your role will be varied and all-encompassing with the below duties.   • You will be responsible for management of a busy accident repair centre employing 30 staff, made up of around 15 technicians and 15 support staff.
  • Your key responsibilities will include entire site and bodyshop management, which includes Health and Safety, People Management, Financials and Customer Service and setting targets
  • You will be responsible for recruitment and delivering against key performance indicators with the help your senior management team.
  • Ensure all Customer service targets are hit at 95%
  • You will provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees, to drive performance and achieve or exceed all financial and operational targets.
  • As a Bodyshop Manager you will Manage the on-site team of experts - Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimator and all administrative staff
  • Understand the business needs, the accounts, reports and KPIs
  • Effectively manage site resources and costs in order to optimise capability and profitability
  • Allocate work according to skill levels to optimise workshop efficiency and labour sales.
  • Monitor individual productive performance to minimise non-productive time.
  • Establish, maintain and promote good working relations with key personnel
  • Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts and reception staff.
  • Hold monthly productive staff meetings to ensure all of the personnel are informed of developments/progress
  • Actively and efficiently manage work provider and supplier relationships
  • Dealing with any customer issues
