Back End Web DeveloperOur client is making a big impact right across the UK currently. This year, our online business has boomed, so it is a perfect time to join us and help us continue to grow the brand and the new formats across the UK.We are currently looking for a talented Back End Developer to join the team at our Head Office in Bristol. You will be involved with developing the current website, along with production and print systems.What you’ll be doing:- Work within the Development team and support delivery of core IT business solutions- Develop new solutions and enhancements for the website- Support the development lifecycle of in house applications- Develop new enhancements and applications for our website- Investigate, manage and resolve issues that may arise on a day to day basis- Work as part of the IT team to deploy new releases to the websiteWhat we are looking for:- Practical experience in Microsoft platform and .NET framework v4 & above, including C#, ASP.NET 2.0, MS SQL server 2016, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, XML, XSLT, Web Services, and AJAX- Experience of back end web development, ideally gained in an Ecommerce environment- Front end development skills would be advantageous- Experience in Windows service programming, SQL stored procedure optimization, IIS maintenance and tuning, Active Directory and JSON- Good verbal and written communication skills- Experience of print on demand production & stock systems is an advantage- Self-motivated and responsible- Good interpersonal skills and able to work on own initiative and as part of the team- The flexibility to support early starts and late finished during project deliveries is keyWhoever joins us always receives excellent training and development opportunities.
