Job Title: Principal Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR&M/ARM) EngineerLocation: Ashchurch, Portsmouth, Bristol or Devonport, Flexible working arrangementsSalary: Up to £65,000 + full company benefitsRole Type: Full time / Permanent / Part time options consideredMust be eligible for SC clearance.Location: Hybrid - Commutable distance to our clients site. Will be required to travel to customer site in Bristol (average once a week - project dependant).The role:You will work directly with our design teams, both in-house and with our partners, to support new business opportunities and existing products. As a Principal AR&M Engineer, you will call upon your experience to influence designs, create and review AR&Mpredictions, plan activities to validate data, and meet our customers requirements for AR&M. You will produce AR&M plans, populate reliability tools, produce AR&M case reports, contribute to project and programme risk reviews and may manage more junior engineers.You may also be required to support bids, applying your knowledge and experience at the early stages of project lifecycles.Who are we looking forYoure someone who thrives on challenge, is a driven individual who wishes to make a positive impact and a desire to see successful outcomes. Youwill have delivered projects for Defence customers, including the UK MOD.Your role will offer a high level of autonomy to manage your workload and schedule to meet the requirements of projects, as agreed with the Project Manager(s) for the project(s) that youre assigned. There will be some travel required, starting with potentialtravel to customer sites, predominantly in the south of the UK. Working remotely and from our own sites in Plymouth, Bristol and Ashchurch can be managed in order to meet your deliverables.You will need to be an advocate for good design and the importance of R&M; you will need to a good communicator and be able to articulate AR&M risks and their impact on capabilities.Essential skills and experience
