Job Description

Assistant Financial Accountant29,000 - 36,000 + benefitsBristol - Hybrid Quinton Davies is pleased to be recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant in the Bristol area, supporting the finance manager and the wider team. the ideal candidate will be looking to further their finance studies in industryRole & Responsibilities

  • Month end accounting procedures and some knowledge of forecasting
  • You will be competent in month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Able to use your initiative to resolve reconciliation issues and discrepancies.
  • You will be organised and quick to prioritise your work as needed.
  • Working as part of a busy team and be keen to take on new tasks as team roles rotate.
  • Liaising with external auditors, providing them with support and assistance where necessary.
  • Great communication skills and able to build positive business relationships
  • Elements of continuous improvement
Key Skills
  • Graduate in a relevant subject to the role
  • Qualified to at least AAT Level 4
  • Looking to do further accountancy study (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • At least 2 years experience working within a finance role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel
