Job Description

Job title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: BristolPay rate: £80-£90p/d dependent on experience/qualificationsContract: Full time starting ASAP and ongoing for rest of academic yearHours: 8:30 to 3:30 - Monday to FridayAre you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEN We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN TA to join a lovely 2-form entry mainstream Primary School in South Bristol. They are seeking 2 x Teaching Assistants withSEN experience to support 2 children with Autism on a 1:1 basis but also work with small groups of children when needed. The year groups are Year 3 and Year 5.Responsibilities:

  • Support a pupil in KS2 with ASC/ASD needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support groups of pupils as and when required, sometimes in an intervention setting
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement behaviour management strategies
