Area Sales Manager - Insulation, Cladding & Fire Protection ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Insulation, Cladding & Fire Protection ProductsIndustry Sector: Insulation, Cladding, Fire Protection, Facades, Dry lining, Building Materials, Structural Insulation, Roofing insulation, Roofing Contractors, Cladding Contractors, Waterproofing Membranes, Housing Insulation, Dry wall, Fire Protection, Independent Merchants, National Merchants, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Specialist Contractors, MerchantsArea to be covered: South West & South Wales Ideally based: BristolRemuneration: £25,000 - £40,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE circa £6,000Benefits: BMW, Audi equivalent company car & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Insulation, Cladding & Fire Protection Products will involve:

  • Eternal field sales position selling a high quality range of manufactured and distributed insulation, cladding, facade and fire protection products
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling directly through main contractors, sub-contractors, cladding contractors, specialist insulation / facade contractors
  • The remaining portion of time will be spent back selling / stimulating demand with the national and independent merchant / distribution channels, with the likes of: CCF, Encon and SIG
  • They would like someone with experience in the modular buildings sector as it’s a growing market selling to the likes of: Portakabin and Caledonian
  • Will be given extensive sales ledger to pick up and run with
  • Inheriting a territory currently turning over circa £4m with plans to grow
  • Dealing with typical order values which can range from £1k - £100k
  • Liaising regularly with National Sales Manager and internal teams
  • Covering the South West and South Wales however must be commutable to Bristol
    • The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Insulation, Cladding & Fire Protection Products experience with:
  • Must have construction sales experience selling a building products into main contractors and sub-contractors
  • OR must work for a merchants / distributors looking to step into field sales, working for the likes of: Jewson, Travis Perkins, SIG, Encon, CCF and more
  • Will consider internal sales professionals
  • Ideally have experience / knowledge of insulation, cladding, facade and fire protection products (not essential)
  • Must have a genuine desire to succeed and want to develop a long term career
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Commercially capable, loyal and technical
