Five Education is working with an alternative learning provision that is looking for Teachers to join them on a full-time or part-time basis to teach their SEMH/ SEND students. They are recruiting experienced Teachers that are comfortable teaching acrosssubjects. They need to be able to demonstrate good behaviour management skills. Lesson planning will be provided. We welcome interest from both qualified Primary and Secondary Teachers. Responsibilities and duties: Teaching across subjects to students that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) Following the schools holistic outdoor curriculum to support students academically, which may not be at the expected levels for their age Working with other staff members including SENCOs and Teaching Assistants Managing challenging behaviour at times Prepare resources for differentiation Essential Criteria: Must hold QTS Must have experience working with students with SEMH/ SEN Strong behaviour management skills Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa) Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks Access to bicycle, car or near main bus routes Able to work 8.30-3.30, 5 days per week term time only Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employers NI.
