Job Description

Air Hygiene TechnicianBristol £24,000-£30,000 + Benefits (D.O.E.)One of our great clients, a long running and market leading compliance company who specialise in air hygiene & duct cleaning services are now looking for fresh talent in the Southwest. They have been consistently growing due to their high quality compliancesolutions that they deliver to a wide variety of customers across the country. They have been in business for 40 years and are the only company to be recommended by AXA for their kitchen extract & fire safety cleaning, working to TR19 standards.This is a great chance for an experienced and skilled Air Hygiene Technician to embark on the next step in their career. If this sounds like you then you could be rewarded by working for one of the best companies in the industry who put the quality of theirwork first and upkeep their high standards by continuously investing and training their employees.Key Duties and Tasks of an Air Hygiene Technician:

  • To complete fire damper tests when necessary.
  • Ensuring all employees have correct PPE and uniform.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen canopies, filters, and extraction systems.
  • To take grease readings and clean grease trays.
  • To guide mentor and train less experienced member of staff.
  • To take before and after pictures of work completed.
  • To oversee all aspects of kitchen canopy/ductwork cleaning and write reports of work completed.
Skills & Experience of an Air Hygiene Supervisor:
  • A full UK license is essential for this role.
  • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ideally you will be confined space trained and vaccinated.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must for the supervisory position.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
