Job Description

To manage the delivery of the Accounts Payable, Cash & Banking and Debt Recovery teams ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. To lead and mentor the 4 direct reports to ensure the teams are engaged with thecompany values. You will drive the team to deliver their objectives within a high-volume transactionaltransactional environment and maintain key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Client DetailsThis organisation are one of the UKs leading healthcarehealthcare specialists.   • Daily management of a team of 20 with 4 direct reports
  • To ensure transactions and records are recorded and maintained accurately.
  • To review the monthly KPIsKPIs to monitor performance and deliver process improvements where applicable.
  • Review the core outputs on a monthly basis (supplier statement reconciliations, bank reconciliations, cash in transit and debt collection rates)
  • Maintain relationships external stakeholders,
  • Being a main point of contact,

  • To ensure bank mandates and internet banking access is updated in a timely manner.
  • To prepare accurate cashflow cashflowforecasts, as and when required.
  • Review and approve payment runs & ad-hoc hocpayments.
  • To complete month end actions accurately and on time.
  • To support the Debt Recovery team with the recovery of all internal and external debts.
  • To provide a professional and courteous service to internal and external customers
  • To ensure full compliance with all internal, external and legislative requirements, including Payment Practice Reporting
  • To assist the Finance training manager with training sessions if necessary.
  • To act as a lead for transactional transactionalfinance processes for M&A and disposals.
  • To complete project work as and when required.
  • To act as the Financial Crime Network Officer (FCNO)FCNO for Dental
  • To collaborate on projects as part of the wider BGUK BGUKmarket unit team.

Profile
  • Experience with AP, Cash and Banking, Credit and Control
  • Retail or clincialclincial background would be beneficial
  • Experience with similiarsimiliar sized business
  • Experienced manager needed
  • Self starter
  • Can work automnouslyautomnously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a high-volume transactionaltransactional environment.
  • Experienced trouble-shooter with an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of managing a large team
  • Unit 4 FinancialsFinancials (formerly CODA) knowledge (preferable)
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel packages
Job OfferWhat is on offer:
  • £45,000 - £60,000
