Job Description

I am delighted to be working in partnership with Meadowmania, a family-run business who have over a century of experience in supplying high-quality wildflower seeds. Meadowmania started their UK journey last January and are expanding rapidly. This is theperfect time to join this dynamic and innovative team and secure a long-term position that has endless potential for growth and development.Meadowmania are actively searching for a highly organized, proactive, and ambitious candidate who is ready to start a successful career while making a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify, Sage, and accounting, whichwill give them a competitive edge.This opportunity is a perfect fit for an individual who is highly passionate about environmental support and biodiversity and is skilled in carrying out essential duties across multiple business areas such as accounting, administration, sales, and marketing.

  • Annual Salary: £23k - £26k PA depending on experience.
  • Location: BS1.
  • Split: Flexi and Hybrid working. 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
  • Hours: Full-time 37.5hrs/wk. 09:00 – 17:30, 1 hour lunch and 16:30 finish on a Friday.
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Answering calls and handling queries with a high level of customer service.
  • Posting orders and processing payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Uploading invoices into the accounting package Sage and managing financial records.
  • Managing the company inbox and ensuring all communications are addressed promptly and escalated appropriately.
  • Following up with delivery services, like DPD, to resolve any issues with shipments.
  • Working closely with the team to maintain order and efficiency in the office.
The ideal candidate:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an accounts department.
  • Familiarity with accounting software Sage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
