Job Description

Account Manager (Home based) - Manufacturing - South West/South Wales - Up to £55,000 + CarAbout the CompanyOur client is a global manufacturing leader with a substantial presence in the UK as well as overseas. If you have a proven track record of increasing market share and driving sales from existing accounts within FMCG Food or the packaging and corrugated sector,then this home based Account Manager position could be the one for you.Account Manager (Home based) - The Rewards

Account Manager (Home based) - Requirements
  • You must have sales experience within Food FMCG or the packaging and corrugated manufacturing sector
  • High credibility with demonstrated results driving and managing sales growth
  • Demonstrated marketing, customer experience, commercial and sales leadership skills
  • Proven ability in successful sales strategy execution
  • Strong business acumen and commercial experience
  • Analytical with good negotiation skills
  • Willing to take calculated measured risks
  • A resilient and persuasive change agent with effective communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability and capability to work with all levels of seniority
  • Dynamic, energetic and authentic to the point personality
  • Networker, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ambition, underpinned by performance, integrity and ethics
  • High levels of resilience, a holistic positive attitude
  • Creative, innovative and long-term visionary
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office applications - particularly in ppt and excel
Account Manager (Home based) - Responsibilities
  • Create and implement the customer development strategy, negotiate cooperation conditions (including stock, payments, obsolete, complaint handling)
  • Meet targeted budgeting objectives for volume, profitability and market share
  • Manage & ensure customer standards, drive improvements in the key performance indicators set/agreed by the customer
  • Identify, qualify and develop opportunities in current customers
  • Anticipate customer needs and respond in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely reporting of ongoing projects and support accurate forecasting with commercial teams
  • Review and recommend contractual terms and sensible pricing between the organisation and customer
  • Undertake customer visits and relationship building exercises
  • Develop customer loyalty by offering appropriate solutions and bespoke options
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering a high quality customer experience
  • Build strong relationships with a range of customer stakeholders to ensure loyalty and a willing to increase share of spend
