The Curve Group is recruiting for a leading player in insurance and financial services.Are you ready to join a dynamic, client-focused company that values innovation, independence, and exceptional service Our client is a leading independent insurance and financial planning group in the UK.They are not tied to any insurers, nor do they use restrictive panels which means you can seek the best cover at the best price for your clients across the whole market.Due to rapid growth, our client is looking for motivated individuals to join their successful team here.Their newly refurbished office sits in the heart of Bristol which has been designed with their employee wellbeing and flexible working in mind.Job Summary:were seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. If you have a strong background in insurance products and a knack for communication, you might be the perfect fit for us. We focus on renewals, retention, and new business, with a special emphasison new business ventures.Key Responsibilities:As an Account Handler your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing renewals, retention and new business
  • Obtain and analyse official claims summaries.
  • Maintain close communication with the Claims & Technical teams.
  • Handle client submissions and maintain insurer communication.
  • Prepare client documents and analyse documentation for compliance.
  • Handle Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs) and queries.
  • Create risk overviews.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and raise awareness among brokers.
  • Flag issues with the Account Exec related to Large Claims, Acquisitions, and Contract Service problems.
Skills and Experience:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Previous experience with insurance products
  • Exceptional communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • A proactive approach to managing renewals cradle to grave.
  • The ability to focus more on new business than renewals.
