Job Description

2nd Line Desktop Field EngineerIf you are a quick thinking and energetic Deskside Support Analyst looking for a new challenge, this role could be for youAbout youYou will have a strong technical understanding of networking, infrastructure and application. Responsible for providing technical support and act as the escalation point for the regional IT Technical support team.Your Responsibilities

  • Providing remote and deskside support across multiple sites in the South West of England.
  • Involved in desktop and laptop build process.
  • Review the audio visual function and provide support and improvements.
You will act as the sole Engineer in the Bristol offices, also covering other smaller sites across the Southwest of England.Technical skills required
  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration
  • Exchange administration
  • Advanced knowledge of iOS and Android devices & Microsoft InTune MDM
  • Installation/moves of hardware such as printers, digital senders, MFDs (multi-function devices), PCs and all peripheral items
  • Citrix 7.x
  • Windows 10 Desktop
  • SCCM
On top of the basic pay, you will receive £4500 car allowance, and all petrol/travel expenses paid.All travel expenses will be covered - driving license and own car is essential for this role.Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 depending on experienceLocation - 4 days onsite (Bristol) 1 day remoteThis firm has a fantastic benefits package and offers great progression within the company as well as annual salary reviews.This role may suit candidates, who hold the following job titles: Desktop Engineer, Field Engineer, Support Analyst, Senior Service Desk Analyst, Technical Support Engineer
