03017 Dispenser or Pharmacy Assistant Brislington Bristol £20,800 paDo you have previous dispensers or pharmacy assistant experienceDo you hold an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy skillsAre you happy to work in a non-customer facing roleDispenser or Pharmacy AssistantBristolBrislington£10.00 per hourPermanent40 Hour per weekWhat is a Dispenser or Pharmacy AssistantTheir role involves ensuring that prescriptions are filed correctly and delivered to patients and healthcare providers, alongside handling over-the-counter sales transactions and liaising with patients online and via the phone .Dispensers and Pharmacy Assistants receive and store medications coming into the pharmacy, maintain stock of prescription medications, keep records and maintain an inventory of drugs to facilitate the role of a Pharmacist.As a Dispenser or Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting licensed Pharmacists and working under their supervision to:Dispense prescription medication and pharmaceutical products to patientsPrepare prescriptions by counting pills, labelling bottles and compounding medicationsCarry out administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacyGather, organise and assess patient information, maintain electronic patient information, and receive and input prescription ordersEnsure compliance by monitoring the prescription-filing processInform and educate patients, answering their questions and offering adviceLiaise directly with healthcare providers and patientsTake an inventory of drugs and place orders to maintain stock, keeping detailed recordsPrice medications, prepare billing information and complete patient sales and transactions for over-the-counter medicationsDispensers and Pharmacy Assistants are required to hold an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills.What are we looking forDo you have previous dispensers or pharmacy assistant experienceDo you hold an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy skillsAre you happy to work in a non-customer facing roleAre you looking for part time work with flexibility around the school run and no weekendsCould you work Monday Tuesday Wednesday and ThursdayWhat do we offerA comprehensive onboarding planCompetitive salary of up to £10.00 per hourOngoing support25 days annual leave pro ratedFull indemnity cover5% employer pension contribution for 5% employee contributionA friendly, relaxed working environmentFrequent team building and social eventsRegular appraisal including annual bonus and pay review based on performance
