Job Description

Estimator - JoineryAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Estimator based in Brislington, Bristol. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm.The candidate will earn £26,000-£32,500, dependent on experience.Some estimating/quantity surveying knowledge within the joinery sector is preferable, but not essential. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress their career depending on experience.Role Requirements

  • This role may suit an experienced Joiner looking to widen their skill set or move away from producing on the bench.
  • Joinery soft experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experienced in either or both of the following: traditional bespoke joinery (windows, doors, stairs, etc.) or commercial projects (reception desks and fitted furniture, etc.)
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbally
  • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Good time management, orderly, methodical and reliable.
  • CSCS Card
  • UK driving licence
  • Proactive and hardworking
Role Responsibilities
  • Pre and post tender estimating
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Procurement of materials and labour
  • Variation costing breakdowns
  • On and off-site measuring
  • Programme of works and labour review
  • Contract Review
  • General admin as necessary
