Job Description

Estimator - High End Stone and Marble Contractor - Enfield Our client are fast becoming one of the leading contractors in the high end stone and marble sector, with a steady trading history and a solid pipeline of projects due to get underway in 2021.The projects consist of high end natural stone, marble, granite, porcelain & terrazzo installations across high end residential and commercial developments in London.Our client also undertake external stone cladding installations upon grade listed buildings.Estimator Overview:Our client are seeking an Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction, based out of their head office in North London.An Estimator with a background working within the high end residential sector, particularly upon high end stone and marble installations/fit outs - will be looked upon favourably.The successful Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager, working alongside commercial and design team to oversee tenders from conception to completion.Below is a sample of responsibilities:

  • Compile and prepare sub-contract enquiries/costs.
  • Prepare tender supporting information.
  • Prepare pricing/costings variations.
  • Prepare valuations and final accounts.
  • Assessment and co-ordination of tender bid and pre-contract activities
  • Management and co-ordination of the Estimating Function
  • Adjudication of tenders
  • Following up tender submissions
