Job Description

Residential property management business located by the Merry Hill Centre are looking for a Supplier/Purchasing Administrator to join their team to assist in providing quality property management services and professional maintenance support to their Clients. They pride themselves on their friendly, approachable and professional service which is tailored to the specific needs of their Clients.They have spent the last decade developing and expanding their knowledge and practices with the clear aim of refining their procedures and services to fulfil the exact needs of each and every client.Duties include:

  • Manage and maintain Contractor/Supplier database and documents
  • Manage work schedules
  • Develop service/work specifications
  • Manage tenders/quotations incl negotiate costs
  • Maintain Contractor/Supplier relationships, raise and monitor works
  • Ensure works comply with current legislation and legal requirements
  • General office duties
  • Ideal candidate:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Strong computer skills - including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to follow and provide clear instructions
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to work as part of the team and on their own
  • Attention to detail, able to think outside the box
  • Strong work ethics and commitment to the business
  • Focused with a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Responds quickly to new challenges
  • Understand and enforces company policies, procedures, technical processes and systems
  • CIPS qualified or relevant experience
