Job Description

Part-Time Payroll Administrator |Bridgnorth Area |Permanent | £Neg DOEFantastic opportunity for a data administrator who wants to embark on a career within payrollThe Company Seymour John are delighted to be recruiting for our client based in Bridgnorth, who are looking to hire and develop a Payroll Administrator to join their manufacturing facility based in Bridgnorth.The OpportunityReporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be working as part of this friendly and supportive team where your main responsibilities will include:

  • Process the weekly payrolls including statutory forms, starters, leavers, P45s & P60s.
  • Maintain and update payroll data in line with changes authorised by business managers.
  • Deal with employee weekly payroll queries.
  • Responsible for reporting from weekly payroll in line with HR and business requirements using excel.
  • Maintain holiday records and provide holiday information and statistics, as required.
  • Calculate statutory deductions, such as SSP, SMP, SPP, CSA, County Court & District Councils.
  • Prepare payroll BACS payments and cashbook entries.
  • Liaise with HMRC and DWP, as required.
  • Undertake all associated payroll administration duties, as well as any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of this post.
Personal Profile We are looking for a candidate who has accurate data entry skills alongside strong administration skills to support the payroll team working on various weekly payrolls. You will need the ability to work to deadlines, be an excellent team player, who is lookingfor a challenging and rewarding role with the opportunity to progress your career in the longer term.
