Science Teacher - SEN provisionRole: Science TeacherLocation: TorquayVacancy: Full-time, permenant roleStart date: Sept 4th 23 or Oct 30th 23Salary: £28,000 to 34,000Timeplan Education are currently recruiting for a qualified or non qualified but experienced Science Teacher to work within a large SEN provision in South Devon, near Totnes.The school is well established and has an incredibly supportive leadership team. Supporting secondary age pupils with complex SEMH, ASC and ADHD, the school is well staffed with a strong team of LSAs, advocates, family support workers and an outreach team.In addition to the standard curriculum, many pupils also take vocational subjects , setting them up for future apprenticeship roles.Most pupils learn at primary level so for this role it is essential that you have experience of teaching Science across all ages and have a creative and engaging approach. In addition, it is essential that you have experience of working with complex SEMHor trauma within a resilient environment.The school are keen to find a Science Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire SEN pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must be a fully qualified or trained and experienced Science teacher with excellent classroom practices,compassion for SEN and a love of teaching.Applications from experienced Science teachers and newly qualified Science teachers are welcome.Please ensure that, if you are applying for this role, you have a qualification to teach Science at Secondary level and area confident teaching from KS3-KS4.
