Job Description

Sony UK TEC Overview:Sony UK Technology Centre is a division of Sony Europe B.V. We are the only manufacturing centre for Sony in Europe and provide contracting manufacturing solutions for other business. Further, we are the home of a Sony customer service centre, a BusinessIncubation Centre and much more. The heart of todays operation at Pencoed is centred on the manufacture of high technology Broadcast and Professional Cameras and Systems for worldwide markets including the latest industry leading 4K technology. Cameras andequipment produced in Pencoed can be found in sports stadiums, studios and outside broadcast units around the world.Job Overview:This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established and forward-thinking Compliance Team as a Lead Auditor. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the individual will be responsible for Vendor Management Compliance which includes Green Partner Programmeand Autonomous Quality Assurance System (AQAS) auditing process.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring business performance
  • Enhance current Audit Programme
  • Lead strategic projects to demonstrate continual improvement
  • Ensure that all records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Carry out audit / review and report on non-conformances
  • Deliver Green Partner and AQAS Awareness Training
  • Prepare, manage and maintain document systems for both external (Supplier Audits) and internal
  • To Interact with Supplier in the audit process and to provide them with regular updates on their progress, making corrective and or preventative actions as and when required
  • Deliver high quality responses to Supplier issues and monitor Suppliers improvements
  • Travel on occasions to Supplier sites both in the UK and Overseas to perform analysis of issues and to gain knowledge. You must hold a clean, full driving licence and current passport
Essential Criteria:
  • ISO 9001:2015 and / or ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor or above
  • Highly competent in use of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Able to analyse complex data creatively to drive improvement activity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise / report / present to Suppliers and internal staff at all levels
Desirable Criteria:
  • Proficient in Mandarin/Chinese
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Engineering Environment
