Management Accountant (12 Month FTC Potential to go Perm) Trafford (Hybrid Working) £40,000 - £45,000Axon Moore have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast paced and growing business. The successful Management Accountant will be responsible for the timely production of accurate monthly management accounts. In addition this role will also help deliver and drive process improvements in management accounting and related finance processes. Monthly Management AccountsFollow the monthly management accounts process, ensuring that they are prepared in line with agreed deadlinesEnsure that checks and balances are implemented to ensure that the accounts are robust and accurateWorking with the Group Finance Manager to ensure that the accounts are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards and that any changes are reflected in a timely fashionPrepare accruals, prepayments and provisions and maintain a detailed audit log of all manual entries including explanationsPrepare variance analysis against budget with supporting commentaryMaintain balance sheet reconciliations to the agreed timetable ensuring that all discrepancies are identified and investigated, including working with wider finance teams to review existing processes where necessaryBusiness PartneringSupport the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group that is led by the FP&A teamSupport Head Office functions through regular reviews of costs ensuring any queries are dealt with quicklyPrepare both the Senior Finance Team and Heads of Department for key internal and external meetings including quarterly business reviews with the BoardExternal ReportingAssist with the annual audit process and the production of the statutory accounts for the GroupProvide support to the Compliance team with regards to the provision of information for external filings such as VAT, intrastat, EC sales and corporation tax Ensure that ongoing procedures are cognisant with statutory audit requirements and that support documentation is prepared in order to ensure complianceThis opportunity will suit someone who is passionate about growth and business performance and can challenge decision makers when needed.To find out more and to not miss out please apply today.
