We are offering a wonderful opportunity for a driven and focused individual to join the very successful and high performing Income Generation Department as Head of FundraisingDevelopment.Quarriers provides practical care and support for vulnerable children, adults and families who face extremely challenging circumstances across Scotland. We challenge poverty and inequality of opportunity to bring about positive changes in people’s lives.The Head of FundraisingDevelopment will take the lead on the strategy for developing and managing a robust income pipeline to meet all Fundraising targets, which is part of the overall departmental strategy. You will manage the overall team on, Individual Giving, Donor Engagement, Community & Events, Corporate, High Value Fundraising and Legacies, and will engage with all key relationships across the portfolio.This great opportunity is suited to someone who is ambitious, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has excellent organisational skills, with a strong background in Leadership, all aspects of Fundraising and Donor Engagement, as well as knowledge of the third sector or commercial organisations as well as experience in developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Providing strong management to maximise success in relation to organic growth and new development opportunities in line with the organisation’s operational plan.Reporting to the Head of Income Generation the post holder will be an integral part of the team.YouYou will have a proven track record of Leadership, Fundraising, Budget Management and Data Analysis. In particular, you will have experience of Individual Donor engagement and have been successful in acquiring and stewarding a pipeline of opportunities across all aspects of fundraising. You’re adept at writing high quality, evidence-based proposals which include impact outcomes and detailed budgets.This is a critical role, engaging and communicating effectively with a wide range of internal staff and external organisations. You will assist the team to grow, expand and develop existing business and identify new pipeline opportunities in all areas.
