Head of Housing Services £61,945 salary per annumEA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a housing association based in West London which focuses not only on providing housing for their residents but also to creating homes and developing sustainable, cohesive communities where people feel safe,respected and valued.We are recruiting for the position of Head of Housing Services which is offering a salary of £61,945 per annum.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Lead, motivate and inspire teams and maximise their potential to deliver outstanding, value for money service and high customer satisfaction. Actively lead and collaborate with all internal departments in pursuit of delivering a first class and supportive service. Be the lead for external agencies and stakeholders in relation to all housing and neighbourhood related issues including community development partners. Lead on tenancy sustainment activities that ensures support is provided for those who need it thereby reducing the number of repossessions. Lead on ensuring our services meet the needs of vulnerable and diverse residents and ensure that attribute data in these areas are always up to date Lead on wider community development activities that benefit the wider neighbourhood in the areas of health, education, employment and digital skills. Lead on ensuring cleaning and grounds maintenance are delivered to a high and accountable standard Develop and execute periodical programmes of block and tenancy audits. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure our blocks and homes are safe and that we take a risk based approach when prioritising our work. Be accountable for developing and Implementing strategies that maximise performance in the areas of; o Income collection and rent arrears o Voids and lettings o Customer satisfaction (including all regulator metrics) o Complaints performance o ASB resolutiono Block, estate and neighbourhood management Be the housing lead for the delivery of the operational transformation programmes to improve processes and integrate systems. Provide briefings, presentations, reports, updates to EMT, Committees, Boards etc as appropriateStandard responsibilities: Adopt and comply with values, policies and procedures, and regulatory frameworks including: Code of ConductHealth & SafetyData Protection, privacy and use of IT resourcesRegulatory standards and probityRisks and internal controls frameworkHuman Resources policies and proceduresEquality, Diversity and InclusionEducation/Qualifications : A degree level qualification and/or significant relevant experience in a senior leadership role in social/private sector housing A Housing related qualification or prepared to study Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (Desirable).Knowledge and skills required Ability to analyse complex data and deliver information to a range of audiences. Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire teams. Ability to act as an ambassador for the organisation. Ability to manage high workload and conflicting priorities. Able to identify strategic issues and develop future strategic and operational plans Excellent organisational skills Very good verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of housing law and current housing issues.Experience required: Extensive experience in the delivery of services in a housing or related field. Experience of leading, developing, motivating and teams of staff delivering a variety of services. Significant experience of leading tams that deliver outstanding customer focused services Experience of managing complex projects and initiatives. Experience of developing and delivering strategic plans that deliver corporate objectives Experience of working with partners including external agencies/contractors. Experience of implementing and monitoring Performance Management Systems. Experience of leading and delivering organisational change.
