CK Group are recruiting for an Epidemiologist to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Brentford on a contract basis for 6 months.Company:Our client is a global healthcare company, taking on some of the worlds biggest healthcare challenges.Location: This Epidemiologist role will be based at our clients site in Brentford, Greater London. Salary:£28 per hour PAYE.Epidemiologist:- Work on the development of new products, following requirements outlined in business strategies, taking into account scientific and timing objectives.- Support epidemiologic projects and processes, under the supervision of permanent Manager or Director level epidemiologist, in alignment with the company Research and Development strategy worldwide.- Execute and/or manage discrete projects related to disease understanding relevant to drug development and clinical trials: e.g. incidence, prevalence, risk factors, natural history course, geographic variation, co-morbidities, co-medications, outcome measures, phenotypes, biomarkers.- Conduct Literature reviews.- Draft sections of Epi Packages or other similar descriptive epidemiology documents for internal or external audiences.Your Background:- MPH or MSPH in Epidemiology required; PhD/Doctorate or MD with MPH in epidemiology preferred.- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work well with others, and ability to plan and execute work independently with minimal supervision.- Demonstrated problem-solving ability using innovative thought and good scientific judgment.- Demonstrated ability to apply scientific principles and techniques to assigned projects.Apply:For more information or to apply for this Epidemiologist position, please contact Julie on or email , quoting job ref 48280.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
