Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for a General Sales Manager to join their business based out of their Edgware Dealership. You will be in charge of all members of staff on site with a particular focus on the sales department, you will help coach, train and develop our clients existing sales team. As a General Sales Manager you will be a big part of developing and motivating theexisting sales team to achieve even better results.About the role* Keep track of the dealerships financial performance* Look after both the New and Used car departments* Be in charge of the total cost of the site across all departments* Control the invoicing procedure to ensure accuracy on all sales* Review the costs and effectiveness of marketing spend regularly for the department* Make sure that we are spending our market budget effectively and in the right areas* Keep staff attrition low and employee happiness high* Ensure the team follows the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) standards so all finance products that are sold meet the guidelines* Present at internal meetings, providing updates to Senior Management on the department performance, target results and future plans* Carry out other duties when needed at the Centre. i.e. General Manager cover* Ensure New Vehicle & Demonstrator stock is managed in accordance with Our Clients policies and manufacturer programmes* Ensure Used Vehicle stock is up to date and reviewed regularly * Manage the Showroom & Used Car displays ensuring the presentation of each vehicle is immaculate* Maintain the highest CSI scores possible at all times* Go to events to increase knowledge and awareness of our clients brand About you* You must have previous experience as a General Sales Manager / GSM within a main dealer* An experienced Used Car Sales Manager will be considered* Experience within a Hospitality Manager role would be considered* Be a confident and enthusiastic person with a drive to succeed* Have excellent interpersonal skills both with customers and staff* Have to have experience in both New and Used vehicles* Be an experienced managerAbout the company* Excellent basic salary* Company Car* Uncapped realistic OTE £75,000* Fun, friendly working environment* Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and car leasing schemes* Chance to learn and develop within one of the UKs best brands If you are interested in joining one of the leading business within the automotive sector then please apply.
