We are seeking a Girlswear Garment Technologist to work with premium brands covering on jersey and wovens. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable global business offering progression and growth opportunities. You will be based in theircentral London buzzy Design Studio.Main responsibilities will include:Working alongside the QC team in order to achieve a high standard productBeing a key point of contact throughout the development of the product, recording and reporting any actionable resultsFabric and garment testing and quality controlKnowledge of issuing POs in both development and production stagesSupporting Design/Development teams in order to achieve innovative products to the highest standardResponsible for taking the product, from development through all the stages to product deliveryClear understanding on maintaining fit consistency. Monitor and maintain Grade rulesEnsure that all garments conform to the latest UK Health and Safety legislation and perform to all standards to meet retailers guidelinesEnsure the designs that are created are engineered within cost structure and make up capabilitiesIdentify new developments that require technical supportRisk assess to identify high risk product for productionCritical Path: Ensure that all seals process/tests are achieved at each stage to critical path datesLiaise with factories overseasAttend meetings with Buyers when requiredPerson specifications:A minimum of 3 years experience within a similar roleMust have experience of girlswearWill have a vast knowledge of fabric/garment testing specifications and results analysisAble to work independently and without supervision based on prior knowledge and experienceFlexibility and show initiativeAttention to detail and deadline management
