Job Description

Summary Were looking for a passionate Cook to join our team here at Brean Down.This is a seasonal role, based on 3 days a week, 8 hour shifts with 30 min breaks.Contract: Fixed term contract will be until the end of September.Salary:£10.32 per hourA note from Rach (F&B Manager): . Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but were looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. Wedgive you as much notice of this as possible. What its like to work here Brean Down is a wonderful location for a day out in Somerset. Enjoy relaxing on the beach at the foot of the Down, building sandcastles and visiting the Cove Caf for a seaside treat.Venture to the top of the Down and take the exhilarating 1.5 mile walkalong Somersets greatest natural pier. What youll be doing Youll enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/seasonal ingredients and will be confident with creating bakes, making, soups, stews, sausage rolls and preparing & presenting food to order served directly to the customers over busy lunchtime periods.You wont be required to work nights, split shifts and will be off on Christmas Day as the property is fully closed to the public.Youll receive a bespoke induction on appointment - and further professional training & development opportunities are available.Interviews: This is an immediate start; interviews will be held by appointment on receiving applications.
