In our always on world, we believe its essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.Help lead the way in manufacturing thats smarter, simpler, and better!We are looking for extraordinarily hardworking and forward-thinking people to be part of a team dedicated to delivering industry-leading performance through outstanding talent, an innovative culture, and teamwork.Now hiring a Maintenance Fitter with a focus on identifying and carrying out upgrades/modifications, to improve available running time and performance.You will join the Maintenance Team, which includes other fitters and electricians, based in our Bray, Dublin location where there is a chance to create a real impact being part of the installation team for “new to Bray” machinery and equipment in Ireland!HOW YOULL HELP US CONNECT THE WORLDThe factory contains multiple pieces of processing and support equipment used in the manufacture of our products, you own the safety and upkeep of our equipment (factory floor and within the facility), to allow Operations to complete their week-to-week buildschedules.Ensuring that machines/equipment/facility items are available to run by carrying out regular preventative maintenance activities; responding to breakdowns on time; troubleshooting and diagnosing the root cause; and carrying out effective repairs or improvements.Maintaining effective communication, regarding the work already carried out, work still in progress, work outstanding, and anticipated time to resolution, to improve efficiency, reduce confusion, and eliminate unnecessary downtime, especially during shifthandovers, you take ownership of the following:- Assisting with product changeovers, from the machine perspective; changing out fixtures/fittings; and making appropriate adjustments to match the specification of the product.- Having the ability to repair, modify, adapt, and manufacture, using equipment like lathes, mills, saws, drills, welding plant, and other tools, to carry out maintenance/repair/upgrade work.- Being able to work from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, MEWP (mobile elevated working platform), or other height-related equipment, to install, maintain, upgrade, repair, or replace equipment/components.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
