Contracts Manager - Roofing Job Title: Contracts Manager - RoofingIndustry Sector: Waterproofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproofing Membranes, Liquid Applied, Flat Roofing Systems, Single Ply, Sheeting, Cladding, Arch, Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Specifiers, Specialist Roofing Contractor, Refurbishment, NewBuild, Flat Roofing, RoofingArea to be covered: South East (Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire)Located: Ideally North EssexRemuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + Company Performance Related BonusBenefits: Company Van & Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Contracts Manager - Roofing will involve:

  • Contracts Manager position promoting a high quality range of various pitched & flat roofing contract services; single ply, liquid roofing, flat roofing, felting, commercial roofing, industrial roofing
  • Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion
  • Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
  • Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
  • Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
  • Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
  • Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
  • Managing pre-contract planning and liaison with estimators
  • Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
  • Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
  • Managing contracts up to 15 contracts at any one time ranging in value from £50k - £2m
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Roofing with:
  • Must have a proven track record in Project/Contracts management in the roofing market sector
  • Must have single-ply experience
  • Ideally will have experience in liquid applied, hot melt, felt and pitched roofing
  • Must have CSCS card
  • Wants to take control
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Confident and articulate
  • Ability to plan and organise deliverables
