Job Description

I am working alongsidea public sector client who are based in Bradley Stoke, North Bristol (BS32). They are recruiting for a number of Resource Schedulers to join their team.Please note the role is full time and will involve weekend working.The positions are to start immediately and are on an ongoing basis with a potential of going permanent.They are open Monday-Sunday so you will do a variety of shifts so you must be really flexible on the days/hours that you can work.Your standard payrate is £10.42p/h increasing to £12.63p/h after 12 weeks. You will also receive pay enhancements for weekend working.Duties include:

  • You will be responsible for delivering resourcing services: Using complex data from a broad range of sources in order to plan Operational work schedules on GRS,
  • You will maintain, administer and oversee the Global Rostering System (GRS) for the management of resources and fleet, and the co-ordination of personnel records, rota patterns and abstractions; including the handling of sensitive and confidential information,
  • You will correctly and accurately record and report on absences following strict confidentiality processes,
  • Process annual leave requests in line with approved limits,
  • Ensuring accurate and correct staff timesheets with hours and absence allocated correctly and attributed to the correct contract type where appropriate,
  • Maintaining accurate and correct absence records, sickness records, and personnel records.
Skills and Experience required:
  • Strong administration skills,
  • Office and Team working experience,
  • Experience with Microsoft IT package,
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal,
  • Considerable ability to concentrate continuously for long periods of time while maintaining speed and accuracy and resolving complex queries,
  • Excellent team working skills,
  • Excellent accuracy and data input,
  • Scheduling or resource management experience - Desirable not essential.
