Piper Maddox, a successful exclusive talent partner of the worlds leading Aircraft Propulsion system manufacturer.Operating for the last 100 years and have now established as a world-class leader for power-dense, reliable, and resilient sustainable Aerospace systems.Now recruiting for Electrical Test Engineer to become a product specialist via Test and Development performed on the companies Dyno Test Rig.The role:This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering specialist who has hands on experience Test and Developing electrical systems, Special Purpose Machinery Motors, Inverters, Drives, Generators.- Provides electrical specialist support and guidance to the test V&V team- Commissions & develops facilities test rigs dynos- Supports test planning and V&V activities- Testing activities and fault finding on plant equipmentCandidate requirements:- Hands on electrical experience with HV Power generation systems- Electrical power systems testing, working knowledge of power generation systems, Motors, Inverters, drives, controls equipment.- Electrically qualified to HNC HND- Test planning experience- HV Test rig commissioning & modification experienceThe Engineer:This role will suit an Engineer possessing an Electrical Systems Engineering background, capable of developing special purpose machinery powertrain, motors, generators, EV propulsion.
