Job Description

Workshop TechnicianBradford, £25,000 to £30,000 pa, at a forward-thinking companyDo you want to work for a company which values their employees, where you are more than just a numberThe company:* crane specialists with expertise in marine, offshore, port and shipyards and construction and industrial sectors.Benefits* Ongoing personal development programme to develop your career and potential* Enhanced pension scheme 4% contributed by the company* Private healthcare for the family after probation* 29 days holiday including statutory* Onsite parkingKey Responsibilities* Stripping, assessment and rebuild of hydraulic and mechanical units* Compile inspection and test reports for customers.* Able to lead or assist in the testing of hydraulic equipment on internal test rig.* Liaise with Workshop Repair Manager in formulating estimates and quotations for service and repair of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.* Analysis of methods for efficient workshop operation.* Occasional on-site removal, installation and/or commissioning as may be required.* Any other activities as instructed in line with the current needs of the business.* Compliance with all relevant HSQE controls and procedures in placeIs this you* At least 5 years relevant industrial experience with a fully completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification* Ability to support the Workshop Repair Manager, Hydraulic Focal Point and service workshop in providing the customer with quality repaired equipment in a timely manner* Experience of servicing and repairing a wide range of hydraulic equipment* Experience in providing support to other departments.* Extensive experience in inspecting and diagnosing hydraulic issues and able to demonstrate an understanding of the technical documentation which supports this process, including technical drawings, schematics, manuals and other relevant documentation.* Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls* Strong continuous improvement ethic* Strong team member and willing to lead when required* IT literate and able to produce clear, concise reports when required for customer viewing.Do you want to work in a rapidly growing sector with massive scope for the future and which is sustainableAre you ambitious and want the opportunity to grow within a business, where you are supported to maximise your ambitionsDo you want to be involved in the future of Crane maintenance and be part of the solutionIF THE ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS IS YES OR YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE THEN PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!Engineering and Manufacturing is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group.
