Job Description

Award-winning telecommunications service provider experiencing unbelievable growth and winning multiple contracts within the space they operate. Standing out from their competitors, their expansion has been immense and organic, allowing them to lead in the delivery of internet connectivity.As a Systems Administrator, the candidate will work as part of a close-knit team, reporting to the Head of Technical and taking responsibility for the expansion of the companys core server infrastructure. Additionally, the Head of Development will welcome the candidates input on assistance with the provision of future project platforms.Experience with the following:

  • Managing Linux administration, specifically Debian and RHEL distributions.
  • System security best practices.
  • Virtualisation technologies
  • Container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
  • TCP/ IP, Linux stack and bridging and routing.
  • Role responsibilities:
  • Install, configure and document new software/ hardware.
  • Assist with systems admin.
  • Detect and solve network issues.
  • Knowledge share and coach junior team members.
  • Liaise with employees regarding systems and access.
