Senior Data Consultant

Job Description

As a Senior Data Consultant, you will work closely with customers deliver enterprise applications through building Data Pipelines and Data Warehouse solutions.Senior Data Consultant Responsibilities:• Manage and deliver projects on the end to end data lifecycle, utilising different Azure data services on each project.• Capture detailed business outcomes and translate these into a working solution for the customer with little assistance.• You’ll be the expert in the room with our customers, displaying a high degree of self-confidence and people management skills.• Your role will enable you to work across the entire BI stack, the technologies used in each project will be different based upon the customer requirements – which we would want you to help shape too!• Provide resource estimates for projects as part of proposal definition and delivery of those estimates as part of an orderSenior Data Consultant Requirements:• Experience of translating business requirements into technical specifications in customer facing roles• Expertise in querying SQL Databases using T-SQL• Commercial experience in building ETL processes using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory• Experience in building and maintaining Data Warehouses• Experience of Data Modelling and tabular cubes• An interest in or experience with using Power BI• An interest in becoming a data expert using Azure, Data Lakes, R/Python, Databricks• An interest in working towards becoming a MVP• Experience in working with Microsoft AzureAbout Cloud2:At Cloud2, we aim to solve operational challenges for organisations with complex data and compliance issues.
