Your expertise and knowledge will empower them to identify and pursue suitable education, training,and employment opportunities.Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality careers advice and guidance to students and adult learners, both individually and in group settings.- Help individuals explore various career options, identify their strengths, interests, and skills, and assist in developing realistic career plans.- Stay up-to-date with labour market trends, job requirements, and educational pathways to provide accurate and relevant information to students.- Deliver engaging workshops, presentations, and events on topics related to careers, employability skills, and career development.- Collaborate with internal departments, such as tutors, curriculum leaders, and employers, to integrate careers education and guidance into the college curriculum.- Maintain accurate records of careers guidance interviews, assessments, and action plans.- Contribute to the development and enhancement of careers resources, such as career guides, online tools, and informational materials.- Keep abreast of changes in the education and training sector, apprenticeship opportunities, and higher education options.- Support the progression of students to higher-level courses, apprenticeships, employment, or university through effective mentoring and guidance.Requirements:- Knowledge and experience of CEIAG delivery in an Education setting- Understanding in delivering careers guidance and information, and a strong understanding of careers development theories and practice.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and facilitate effective discussions.- Knowledge of current labour market trends, employment legislation, and educational pathways.- Familiarity with careers-related resources, tools, and online platforms.- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.- Relevant qualifications in careers guidance, counselling, or a related field would be advantageous.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about helping individuals achieve their career aspirations and making a positive impact on their lives, we would love to hear from you.
