Job Description

We’re looking for a Purchase to Pay Analyst to join us in Bradford (BD4) on a permanent full-time basis. This role provides first line purchasing support to the business and our suppliers, by phone and by email. This role will also support the business through a major system upgrade from a purchase to pay perspective, supporting the business to use the newsystems. It involves collaborating with a wide range of people to deliver outstanding customer service for our colleagues and suppliers.This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work as part of a great team within Payment Operations. Acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports a number of businesses acrossthe Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.What will you be doing

  • Working with senior stakeholders from LG & Virgin Media to ensure fast query resolution.
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers where relevant to resolve complex queries.
  • Leading on month end close processes and reconciliations using MS Excel.
  • Supplier account maintenance including set ups and bank detail amendments.
  • Working with procurement to ensure the validity of the supplier master data.
  • Reviewing team processes and actively promoting suggestions to improve process, procedures and systems.
  • Supporting Team Leaders on audit requirements to provide information and evidence as required.
  • Using various communication tools including Microsoft Office, Tools & Skype to communicate with Team members and stakeholders.
  • Interrogating multiple systems at the same time to complete processes and resolve queries.
We tend to look for people with: Essential:
  • Ability to analyse and resolve issues.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced accounts payable or receivable department.
  • Flexible and able to pick up new skills quickly.
  • Verbal Communication Skills to explain issues.
  • Solid understanding of MS Excel.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working with Finance / Procurement systems like Oracle fusion, Oracle Cloud and ERP.
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet targets without compromising on quality.
  • Interest in Automation technologies.
