Job Description

Job Title: Purchase Ledger Manager + Progression Salary: £38- £43k Location: Bradford Type: Permanent An exciting interim opportunity for an Accounts Payable/ Transactional Finance Manager to join this global leading business, providing management support across the Purchase Ledger team in leading them through a period of aggressive growth leading to fast trackprogression through the leadership team in this shared service centre. Ensure the teams training and development needs are met within the purchase ledger team. Assess current accounts payable and purchasing processes, propose recommendations & deliver the improvements Liaise internally with various departments within the SSC to assess processes Ensures adherence to external and internal controls, accounting/accounts payable/receivable/ purchasing policies and procedures, contractual compliance, approval levels, accuracy and compliance. May participate in special projects such as compiling, preparing and distributing financial reports, assisting with data analysis and problem resolution, and providing audit assistance Training and on-going development of the purchase ledger team & managing the recruitment process Leading a high volume processing team working both in the office and remotely Attending and contributing to the Finance Shared Service Leadership team meetings About you: Previous experience improving purchase ledger & purchasing departments & processes Good communication skills & the ability to build relationships Pro-active with a proven track record of improving & achieving.
